Scrap The Boys

This month it was a color challenge

My photo comes from a present  that came home from kindy mounted on a painted tray.

I had it hanging in the dining room for many many years until recently when it got knocked down.

I realised the photo was quite dusty and knocked about . I managed to salvage it and found the above

colors perfect for scrapping it!!

I just love this photo and the look in Mark's eyes!

I thought my Dylusions Paints were a perfect match-
                                                                                  London Blue
                                                                                  Paintbox Red
                                                                                  Lemon Zest

I hadn't used them before this and I found they were great fun!!

The red V patch and the two wood veneer stars have come from Rainbow Splendour

and the title Shine is from Kit the Habit.

            The stencil is from The Crafters Workshop and the sequins are red, though that doesn't show

 so well in the photo!

             The stars are Bella Boulevard Puffy Star Stickers.

I used the Cocoa Vanilla Wild at Heart Collection to create this page.

My daughter was enjoying the thrill of holding a guinea pig- she ended up caring for weiros, and rats

before she was successful in her campaign to have a dog!!

I love Coca Vanilla Collections as I know it all goes together well!!

 I enjoyed  the Birthday Cybercrop for Anna's Craft Cupboard earlier this year .

I was thrilled to win the Moodboard Challenge!

Maja Designs Vintage Baby Papers were ideal for this little girl!! 

The papers are so gorgeous they don't need much embellishment!

I layered up the photo, fussy cut the balloons and added a few pearls.

( sounds quick but it took a while to get the layout right!)

Gorgeous result for a gorgeous girl( who still is at 19 years!!)

I was so happy when this was taken- I had waited 5 years for this little man!! ( who is 6ft + and 23yrs  now!)

I really enjoyed this blast from the past !

The chipboard is Dusty Attic which I painted with white Liquitex Acrylic Paint.

I then coated it with Dusty Attic Crackle Varnish

The title is UM Wow chipboard and treated the same way.
.
I used a Donna Downey Stencil with Finnabair Crackle paste for the background.

Loved how it turned out!
