I was inspired by a fabulous holiday to the Cocos Keeling Islands in 2014.
On the ocean side of the islands facing Asia the beaches were filled with washed up plastic rubbish,
including many many thongs!!
I particularly remembered the various art pieces people had created around the island using these
thongs and washed up driftwood etc.
I have had a hankering to do something with thongs ever since and this month's theme created the
ideal opportunity!!
The photo is of the beach at Direction Island - one of the world's best kept secrets!!
From the mood board I used a brick stencil and bright colours and white embossing on my chipboard.
