art journal play

more than words blog spot August challenge
I thought I would do something different for me.
I played with my art journal creating a flower garden with friends walking through!

The colors are
Lindy's Stamp Gang Magicals, Prima Donna Purple, Drop Dead Gorgeous Green and Sassy Sapphire
I stencilled ( Faber Castell Whipped Spackle)and stamped circles.(crafters workshop stencil,  2 different Scrapmatts stencils and and  an Indigo Blue bubbles rubber stamp)
I mixed Faber Castell Glass Bead Glitter Gel with the Sassy Sapphire and stencilled circle centres in my flowers using the crafter's workshop stencil
The flower stamp is Stampin-Up.
My friends are Dylusions Silhouette Ruby, initially stencilled with black gesso( a technique I learned from the lovely Rikki Grazziani)
The friends stamp is Kazzazz( I think!)

Nearly walked away from this, but so glad I stuck with it!!- thanks Rikki for encouraging me to continue with it! I love how it has turned out!!
