thoroughly enjoyed my class with renowned artist Limor Weber in Melbourne.
Many thanks Limor for travelling round the world, and being flexible enough to leave your precious family to share your amazing talent. ( and to Hobby sew Echuca for facilitating the class)
I used the techniques I learned in her lesson to create a canvas for the
Scrap Around the world blog site September challenge.
I was inspired by;
the single rose,( I chose to use a single flower as the technique involved free drawing and I wasn't up to a rose!!)
the ice blue of the background behind the words
the writing theme through the mood board also inspired me to use script stamps and ink splat stamps
in the background and to include word stencils

the canvas is 14 inches by 10 inches
I'm really excited by how it turned out and can't wait to get started on another !!
This is fantastic Rosemary! I love your colour choices and the flower is perfect! Thanks for playing along at Scrap Around The World.
