Steam Punk - Off The Rails Challenge for september2017

my first DT Reveal for  Off the Rails Scrapbooking challenge

the Mood Board is Steam punk

I chose a photo of my daughter when she was just getting mobile to demonstrate that being a girl

doesn't mean you have to stick with " girl themes"!!

( although I couldn't stay away from flowers!!)

I was inspired by a class I did with Di Garling recently.

The Prima papers and some of the flowers  came from a kit put together by Prima Designer Cari

Fennell, though the finished product is very different to the design in the kit.

I mixed Finnabair 3D Gloss Gel with Finnabair  Art Ingredients  Mica Powder - Rust

and applied that through a Kaisercraft Stencil to get that lovely shiny look to the cogs.

I also mixed the Finnabair Rust Mica Powder with Anna Griffin Embossing Paste  to get that lovely

chocolatey  look to the flourishes at the top and bottom of the page.

Other products used in no particular order!
